Drone shot of the forest and cascades, Pemberton, Western Australia. I would say Pemberton is one of my favourite towns in Western Australia. The gorgeous forests, the smell of the sweet, earthy air & the silence is a welcome relief to the hectic go-go-go of the city. I feel this photograph does an amazing job of portraying this feeling of ‘comforting isolation’. I feel all humans are naturally wired to feel more grounded & alive when close to nature. The forest towers above me and the roads are empty… Yet I feel more at peace and connected than I have in a long time.
