The Future

In April 2015, a massive earthquake struck Nepal devastating the mountainous country. In the spring of 2016, my friend and I spent time volunteering and rebuilding a school that had been destroyed. We have since gone back on multiple trips, getting more volunteers to join us, and raising money to not only rebuild additional schools, but also provide clean drinking water, clothing, and supplies. This photo was taken when we first entered the village we built our first school in. The boy looked at us for only a second before heading back inside.
