The lion was always the symbol of fierceness and domination. This lion is guarding the bridge that was a key battle site that was fought in the civil war. This photo was a must as I was wondering around the historical location that is Newport News, Virginia. This bridge is called lions bridge where you can find many couples and joggers. Walking around so much history can be daunting. I was just glad I was able to capture a photo that captures the symbolic fierceness of the battle that took place at the Lions Bridge.
