Kirkjufell, Iceland

When I saw my first image of Kirkjufell years ago, I knew Iceland was a destination I had to reach. After making the trip we were met with much rain and snow throughout our one week trip. When coming upon the Mountain of Kirkjufell however, we saw the skies begin clear. I raced to the top of the overlook to setup the now famous shot of the mountain taken by so many great photographers. It was truly a dream come to true to stand there and see this mountain in all its beauty.
