We were hikers from 11 different countries: UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, India, Iran, Italy, China, Vietnam, and, of course, USA. That is truly a feat to itself. The love of wilderness has no border. Even though many of us came from far away lands, we converged and together stepped into to its majestic presence. Wilderness is our sanctuary. It nurtured our ancestors millions of years ago and continues to welcome her children seeking solace in her embrace today.
