I had hiked up from Lombard to the Art Institute to get a better view of the city and as the fog rolled in and the daylight started to dim, some of the the street lamps and the lights in the homes began to turn on scattered throughout the city. The colors were just mesmerizing. It was one of the most peaceful moments I have ever felt while visiting SF, which is always such a busy and vibrant city, as if everything had just stopped for just that moment
