Friends and I were touring Up North Michigan on a cold, rainy, windy (grizzly) spring day. We found ourselves in Leland, MI where the “Old Fishing Village” was completely deserted. The photo moves me because it reminds me of what it must have been like to live by your “catch” in the old days on a perilous Lake Michigan.
