macro photography of red dragongly

I took this photo of the dragonfly outside a fuel station in Thailand. These colourful dragonflies were all going to the same spot in a small pond. The smell of the pond was terrible but it seemed to attract the colourful dragonflies. I only had my backup camera and no macro lens so this was the closest shot I could get of the purple dragonfly. I love the details and the colours of Dragonflies are stunning.
