Many times, I find that my most favorite photo from an excursion is one that I composed near the end of the session. In this instance, it was early spring and I had been taking pictures of the flora and fauna around the duck pond at Fort Harrison State Park. As I walked back to the car, these fresh, tender leaves caught my eye. I pointed the camera directly into the sun and set the shutter speed as high as it would go. It was a challenge to get the lens in the shade of the leaves because of the breeze that was blowing. My favorite shot turned out to be nearly the last one on the card.
