This photo was captured during our second sunrise shoot at the Rocky Mountain National Park. I love how this image showcases the four layers of landscape: the foreground of evergreens, more pine trees, the stunning snow-covered mountains, and the gorgeous clouds and sky above. Everywhere you looked, there was a beautiful scene just waiting to be captured. The landscape changes throughout the day, but for the most dramatic scenes, you have to be up early for the sunrise and that’s also when the wildlife is most active. We saw many elk and deer mules throughout our visit that I’ll also share!
