Took a friend to Japan’s highest concentration of bookstores – Jimbocho, with nearly 200 stores crammed into 1 square kilometre. As we popped in and out of shops that ranged from multi-level modern buildings to little alley shops, she picked up some antique books off the shelves just to touch the paper.
