The Aussie Emu

We went out purposefully to grab some shots of kangaroos at Eagle Point, but we missed them all. Instead, this emu was grazing at the edge of the road. Inquisitive as they are, as we reached the edge of the road it came closer, coming to check us out. They are such amazing birds!
