This was taken in Avignon the first provincial French town I ever visited. This vine-covered wall was right next to our hotel and immediately reminded me of Madeline (In an old house in Paris which was covered in vines…) which I loved as a little girl. Although this wasn’t taken in Paris, it brought back so many wonderful memories from my childhood and made me even more excited to head to Paris for the first time in 10 years which we did a few weeks later.
