There are times in life as a photographer that you find yourself lost for inspiration, feeling limited and as though you can’t shoot anything correctly. This image is a result of one of those days; I couldn’t make anything look how I was seeing it. I was looking and searching for specific models or targets and looking past what is just there. So, in a moment of reflection behind the lens, I was able to get this lit gazebo and its reflection of the lake. Simple, dark (just as the feelings when taking the image) but promising also. It felt good.
