Northeastern tip of Cyprus. Apostolos Andreas Monastery sits part majestic, part worn down at the northeastern tip of the island. When I took the photo in February 2003, it was under renovation overseen by the UN. Back in the photo, one of the caretakers sit in front of the entrance, avoiding the camera and perched in between columns.
