Would you like tunes with that?

I grew up in the 80’s when table top jukeboxes at the local restaurants were still a thing. I used to love to go out to eat with the family, for the company and the food - yes, but mostly to load up that magic machine with quarters. This picture is taken in a local yokel diner in the town where I grew up, Keene, N.H. The box has been hanging there for decades. The tunes are update, but they still have an old school flavor - as does the food; it’s one of the greasiest spoons around.
