After hiking to the summit of Mount Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo, my group stopped at the Low’s Peak via feratta before making our descent down the mountain. The via ferrata involves strapping yourself to a steel cable anchored to the rock face, traversing sometimes 90 degree walls in a lateral exploration of the mountain. A spectacular view and awesome experience.
