Raising the Sky

Sydney, Australia, is undergoing a time of major change. Here, at Millers Point however, you can still catch a glimpse of ‘old Sydney’ aligned with more modern additions to the city’s harbour gateway. In this image, I wanted to draw a point of connection between the Metcalfe Bond Stores warehouses, constructed in 1912, and the consistently rising skyline over the decades since, which includes the Marriott and Four Seasons hotels and Centrepoint Tower (Westfield).
