There are no signs pointing to the grapes at this local park. None that say “Grapes are Here” nor “Don’t Steal the Grapes.” In fact, I’d been to the park easily 40 times before I even discovered where they were, right along a paved trail near the main parking lot. If you’re too early, the concord grapes are not ripe (as pictured) and if you’re too late then they’ve all been stolen. This year I was both too early and too late.
