We saw this beautiful statue a couple of times. The first time was on our way to the Castello Sforzesco. In fact we could see the castle from this area of the statue. Giuseppe Garibaldi was an Italian general, politician. Garibaldi was appointed general by the provisional government of Milan in 1848.
