It was a hot day and I one week post surgery and needed to take slow walks during my recovery. Being hot outside, I really didn’t want to walk in full sun so I took a drive and saw a shaded cemetery to explore. I’ve always found cemeteries to be relaxing as there are few people around and the people who are there are usually very quiet. It’s a sacred place. I like the quiet solitude because I can be alone with my thoughts. I found many large and unique tombstones so I decided to take some photos.
