My mother keeps a beautiful garden. It resembles a green grass island surrounded with a verdant chaos of woven myriad species. In the summer, green leafy fronds are punctuated by pink, orange and blue - the bleeding heart flowers are some of my favourites. I would sit on that green island reading Bashō in the sunshine.
