We live about a mile from Melton Lake (aka Clinch River) which is a popular venue for scull rowing. On this early morning, the fog was just lifting from the water as the sun was appearing over the mountains. The light gave the photo a black and white effect and created diamond-like sparkles in the rower’s wake. I love that it also captured a spider web in the trees along the shore … it all told a story of peace, solitude and joy!
