Desert Winter

This photo was taken among the labyrinthine passageways of Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah last February. This was a beautiful and comfortable hike. The snow gives a false representation of the temperature. Shaded by rock formations at high altitude, snow stays easily in a relatively warm atmosphere for warm-blooded creatures like humans. I definitely recommend visiting this time of year.
