brown tortoise

This was taken in a small cove close to Kanapalli. The turtles were coming in as the tide reached it peak. It made for a perfect opportunity to grab some shots. I used a 200mm lens, sat down, and held very still as a result they ignored me and went about their business as I snapped away. They awkwardly climbed on flat rocks to sun themselves and wait for the tide to come back in.
