Pixel, Phone by Google

Criticized for a bland design, I wanted to portray this phone in a way that embraced its unique character. Turning the device face down, I angled it against the lines of the blanket. The evening light coming through my window created some amazing shadows around the phone so I elevated the camera to incorporate them in the composition. Lastly, I applied the hb2 VSCO filter to give the image a cool and contrasted aesthetic. (Shot with a 50mm Canon FD lens adapted to fit a Sony NEX-5T.)
