Where the clear waters reflect the image of the Cervino, at 1981 meters high, at the foot of Breuil-Cervinia in the Valle d'Aosta, stands the famous Blue Lake. The marvelous topaz color of its waters is due to the particular algae present on its depths. The lake is surrounded by fir trees and century-old larches, a natural portrait of the majestic mountain that earned him the epithet of Specchio del Cervino.
