On my way down to Eden on the South Australian Coast, I stopped in the mountain range between the arid landscape of Canberra, and the lush valleys near Merimbula. As part of the stop I found myself pulled up on the side of a road down into the green valleys. I’ve always had a fondness for combing striking colours together, and the vast rich greens of the fern forests really stood out against the yellow from the road sign.
