The smog

I was in the car on my way to Belgium after a family holiday in France and had never seen such a grey cloud of smog. I felt disgusted as I knew that for the rest of the day we would be driving through these thick clouds of smog. You could see how the dirt clung on to the cars and people were desperately trying to keep their front window clean. It was such a big contrast versus the usually picturesque landscape which I have always enjoyed looking at while we drive through the mountains.
