Sanding Hands

It was a Sunday morning and I was finishing up some quilting boxes for my Mother-in-law to take to a quilting workshop. Shortly before I was done, the sun came through the window and illuminated where I was working. It made for a beautiful shot. I ran in the house and grabbed my camera and tripod and started shooting away. Growing up I watched my grandfather build with his hands and I can’t help but think of him and the skills he taught me each time a look at this shot. The textures, lines, and lighting made for the perfect shot on a lazy Sunday morning.
