My dance team and I were in Boston for a competition and we spent our last day there sight-seeing. We were walking around in the park and taking pictures in downtown when suddenly out of nowhere we heard noises and saw a whole mob of people and realized it was a protest. This was my first every protest and I took the opportunity to take as many pictures as I could to document this experience and this was by far my most favorite picture that I took. The messages this picture is able to send out and the symbolism of the upside down flag just give it that much more power.
