Messages of celebration rolled in after mentioning that I had finally arrived in the Coromandel region of New Zealand. The area is a favorite to local kiwi’s and represented the last adventure stop of my nearly year-long trip working remotely while driving the entirety of NZ. I nearly had to skip it after weather delays pushed hard against my schedule, but I am grateful to have taken a few extra long drives in order to make it happen. This stunning region on the North Island is protected from strong surf and blessed with beautiful weather.
