Ganga Ji Aarti

The river Ganges is considered to be very pious by the Hindus. When Hindus die, their bodies are cremated and the leftover ashes are then immersed into Ganga Ji. For it believed the holy river Ganga originating from the locks of Lord Shiva absolves anyone who takes a dip into it, of all their sins. Every evening in Haridwar, the world renowned Ganga Ji Aarti takes place at a very pious location known as “Har ki Paudi”. It happens on a very grand scale and it leaves everyone enthralled, Indians and foreigners alike. It should be witnessed at least once in a lifetime. Har Har Gange!!
