It was my first trip to Lake Tahoe and I was the driver. My hands were on the steering wheel for majority of the trip and if I pulled over to take photographs, I though that I would be wasting my gf’s family’s time. On my last night, I grabbed my tripod and took a walk around the neighbor because I was my last chance to snap a photo of some of the cool driveways in our complex. The snow was 50 ft deep on parts of the mountain and with 30 minutes of daylight left, I found my chance to explore. Always try to find time to do something creative.
