We had just arrived at Kruger National Park and were on our first game drive, when this darling giraffe took a break from eating and popped up above the tree line to stare at us inquisitively for a little while. I love giraffes—when they run it’s downright the most awkward thing you’ve ever seen, but there’s something so elegant about them, too.
