We were on our way to Istambul and the week before we departed I got a notification that our connection flight in Rome had been delayed, so we would need to spend 12 hours in the city before taking the next flight. We made a list of places we wanted to see and I must say that we covered “almost” the whole city in those 12 hours, including St. Peter’s Basilica (which is what we are approaching in this picture), Fontana di Trevi, Castel Sant’Angelo (“Angels and Demons”, anyone?), and much more. It was an unforgettable day and this photo captures how much we still had to go/enjoy.
