We took this shot at Mission Beach, San Diego. We spent nearly two hours, taking pictures of surfers and enjoying the sun. Then, on our way back, we stumbled upon this young skater. He was so still, so peaceful. Unlike any other person on the beach, he wasn’t staring at his phone; scrolling down the social networks. He was just looking at the ocean. And that was beautiful to see.
