This night was a special night. It was the lowest the Aurora Borealis would be for the entire year. Photographers and adventurers set out all over the state to higher elevations and away from the city glow with the hope of seeing the lights. By midnight we had settled in and set up our tent only to be greeted not by the Lights of the North, but rather the Harvest Moon. The brightest full moon of the year happened to fall on the same night. It was so bright we turned off our headlamps and explored as though it was day. Still to this day a memory never to forget.
