It was 2am in the small village of þingeyri (Thingeyri), a village in the Westfjords of Iceland with a population of 260. The Cleveland Cavaliers had just won the championship. I watched the game on a laptop in an old butchery converted into a community center / art studio. I was on cloud nine. We walked outside and the sun was still setting. Six hours after I was used to it being dark, someone had just decided to hit the pause button on the sun. My friend Elijah was taking in the view of this insanely vibrant sunset. I captured this in a puddle left by the rain from earlier that day.
