I hiked 6 miles uphill, wearing a pack, and pushing a bike. I made it to this alpine lake just before sunset. I was surprised to find it still mostly iced over with deep snow around the perimeter. I grabbed several shots, and headed back down via bike. 2 hours up, 9 minutes down!
