Part of the larger Cygnus loop structure, altogether the remnants of a star going supernova, the Western Veil, situated 1470 light years from us, is instantly recognisable due to its pointy shape. What also makes this a particularly interesting area is the presence of large amounts of oxygen (blue) alongside the more common hydrogen (deep orange).
