Whenever I see an opportunity for a great photo on one of my adventures through our local parks, I break out whatever camera I happen to have on me and start shooting. In this case, I shot 3 difference exposures to capture the highlights and shadows being cast by the sunlight through the trees. This allowed me to combine all three exposures for maximum detail… but then I got to thinking: how cool would this be if the trees were black and white, and the path left in full color, almost as if to guide the viewer on a walk in the woods? Pretty darn cool, if you ask me.
