The battle of Trafalgar, also known as the Battle of Trafalgar, was a naval battle that took place on October 21, 1805, under the third coalition initiated by the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Naples and Sweden to try to overthrow Napoleon Bonaparte of the imperial throne and dissolve the French military influence existing in Europe.
