This woman is amazing for at least two reasons. First, she is a master weaver of beautiful textiles. She grows, gathers, washes, dyes, dries and colors her yarn. She weaves her patterns by hand. Second, she teaches younger women to do the same thereby giving them a livelihood and place of recognition in their community. She was modest, gracious and energetic.
