An American Road Trip - The Star Spangled Banner

In May 2016 I embarked on a crazy journey from Montréal, QC to New Orleans, LA. Drove all the way down there and then back up. From this amazing journey was born my first book. Today I’m releasing some “b-sides” and offering some on Unsplash. I have a thing for flags. There’s a lot of aesthetic in these symbols waving in the wind. I must have captured dozen of them during the trip, but this particular one really stood up due to the composition and geometry of the photo, but also due to its sharpness. In this season, felt like the best way to start my Unsplash collection.
