This was literally a breath taking view… to get to this viewpoint you drive several miles through dense forest on a sketch service road that slowly climbs in eleveation, never once having a view of the mountain. All of a sudden you come to the end of the pavement and you hit a gravel dirt path, You drive around a rocky embankment and right before your eyes is a giant valley and Mt. Hood staring you right back in the face, unmoving and looking as large as it is.
