Queen Anne's Lace is a small plant, native to Asia, and actually belongs to the carrot family. It is biennial - lives for only two years. Some regard it as an invasive weed, especially in wildflower meadows and prairie restoration sites. It comes in shades of white, lavender, green and pink.
