Exporting JPEGs with EXIF metadata

You can manually enter any extra information about your photo in the Unsplash uploader, but to make it easier for you, the uploader is able to pull information from your photos using the EXIF metadata attributes of the photo.

To export photos with EXIF information, follow the instructions for Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop below.

Adobe Lightroom

  1. Select File -> Export

  2. Find the Metadata Panel and select Include: All Metadata

    Set the Metadata attribute to All Metadata

  3. Re-upload your photo to Unsplash

Note: If the uploader doesn't pull the EXIF information automatically, the original image may have already had its EXIF information removed by Lightroom or your camera.

Adobe Photoshop

  1. Select File -> Save for Web...

  2. Find the Metadata Panel and select Metadata: All

    Set the Metadata attribute to All

  3. Re-upload your photo to Unsplash
