We had started our hike to the top in the early morning darkness, guided by our torchlights. The plan was to view sunrise, but experiencing the weather during our trek, we were not very optimistic. Unfortunately, we did not get to view the sunrise Poon Hill is famous for. That’s mother nature for you. This picture captures the pathway we had traveled to get to the top framed by the wildflowers. We would be walking the trails on the hills seen to the extreme left of the picture later on the day to continue our journey to Annupurna Base Camp.
