“I was with a group of photographers, chasing the northern lights in Norway. When I got back to the parking lot from a walk, I suddenly discovered some northern lights. I immediately lay on the ground (it was -10°C) and took this beautiful shot.” — Lucas Schneider 🇩🇪

“I framed this scene through a traditional Chinese window, using its geometry to echo the structure of the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge beyond. The bridge spans the area once known as Yingwuzhou, a historic sandbank along the Yangtze River, bringing a subtle dialogue between memory and modernity into the frame.” — Zheng Xue 🇨🇳

“The orange-red color combined with the dark silhouette and shadow creates a very strong emotional contrast. I tried to convey the state of the dancing man, his inner emotions and energy. The pose is very expressive - that's exactly what I wanted to achieve in this shot. It's pure energy, alive and real.” — Dmitrii Shirnin 🇷🇺

“This shot is from a spontaneous solo journey through the East Coast. It was my way of breaking free from a difficult time. The scenery reminded me that the world is far too wide to stay stuck—there is always beauty waiting to be discovered.” — Kent Chin 🇲🇾

“This picture was taken in La Rochelle, the ship was ‘Le Français’.It’s a pretty nostalgic moment just before darkness: a three-masted ship leaving the port after sunset, while we remain on land, to begin its journey across the Atlantic. Everything felt calm, the last light of the day slowly fading as its silhouette gently drifted away. Sometimes, a photograph can capture that soft, bittersweet feeling.” —  Rafael Garcin 🇫🇷

“I have always been fascinated by the ethereal blue of the Himalayan blue poppy. It was a wonderful surprise to discover that these flowers grow on a mountain not far from my home in Japan. Seeing these delicate blue petals swaying in the breeze inspired me to paint them in Japanese watercolour called ‘Gansai’.” — Kaori A 🇯🇵

“I love flying by drone over salt lakes and the sea.  Viewed from above, you can be rewarded with patterns and colors you cannot see from the ground. This particular salt lake I stopped at by chance; the shoreline was full of dead vegetation, so at ground level it did not look promising. The drone was launched, and I was rewarded with the green channels along the salt lake shoreline.” — Ian Kennedy 🇦🇺

“A pure moment in life where luck, vision and magic collide. The idea was to capture a clear night in the mountains when midnight hikers appeared and lead the photo to a new dimension; it was not planned, but felt natural. I was lucky to capture the moment. It is the only photo I took that night as the cold and weather started to get worse.” — Louis Gaudiau 🇫🇷

“I’m obsessed with Australian sunrises. This one — 6 am, South Curl Curl rockpool, heavy swell rolling in. The sun broke, and deep orange light lit up the mist from every crashing wave. Moments like this are why I never stop shooting.” — Marcel Lloyd 🇦🇺

“Loneliness exists in every human being in this world. I created this illustration about that feeling—it depicts a woman lying alone, reflecting on her solitude and the things she has been through.”  — Runend Art 🇮🇩

“During a star safari in the Dolomites, I stood by Pragser Wildsee beneath a sky full of stars. The silence was absolute - broken only by the sound of ice cracking on the frozen lake.“ Felix Rottmann 🇩🇪

“This image was captured in São Roque de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The region is well known for its early-morning fog, shaped by the altitude and surrounding mountains, creating quiet, almost suspended landscapes. Beyond that, this place holds a very special meaning for me. It is the land of my grandparents, and I still have much of my family living on farms near these hills. Being there always feels like returning to something essential.” — Allec Gomes 🇧🇷

“When visiting teamLab Borderless in Tokyo, Japan, I spotted this uniquely captivating tunnel of light. I grabbed my camera and snapped this picture. I wanted to show both the tunnel and the effect it had on everyone (some people would stand and stare for 15 minutes!). By far one of the coolest & transfixing art installations I've ever seen :)" — Alex Korte. 🇺🇸

“This image was a practice shot because I got a new macro lens. It's a savoy cabbage leaf that's lying on top of a flat light. The backlighting really made the details of this highly textured strain of cabbage really pop!” — Susan Wilkinson🇺🇸

“Using long exposure and camera movement, I let the landscape lose its edges and become something fluid. The image is less about the place itself and more about the feeling of being there-soft, fleeting, and slightly unreal.” — Eugene Golovesov
